Broward County citizens have helped make CrimeStoppers one of the nation's top performers. That means with the help of the community, more cases are solved, arrests are made, and property is recovered.

You can help, too. If you have information regarding a crime, call CrimeStoppers at 954-493-TIPS. You don't need to give your name or any information about yourself. There's no Caller ID. You can remain completely anonymous. You'll be given a code number, and if your information leads to an arrest, that code number gets you the reward.

CrimeStoppers has been successful.  Since 1981, CrimeStoppers has cleared 15,025 cases, making 9,872 arrests, including numerous homicide arrests.  $33,178,029 worth of property and cash has been recovered and $326,902,076 of narcotics has been seized totaling $360,080,105 in total recoveries. To date, CrimeStoppers has paid $1,485,725 of rewards.

Broward County Crime Stoppers offers a $200 reward for information leading the arrest of delinquent parents (parents who fail to make court-ordered child support payments) with outstanding arrest warrants for non-payment. CrimeStoppers began in Broward County in 1981 to assist criminal investigation detectives. The Broward County CrimeStoppers unit is governed by a Board of Directors responsible for fundraising. The Board sponsors various events including an annual golf tournament, the annual CrimeStoppers Gala, and other events to fund the reward account. Donations from local businesses and citizens are also encouraged. All monies raised for the reward fund are used only for that purpose.
