BEWARE LOTTO SCAM

Subjects have been preying on elderly Latin people. They have been approaching the victims and asking for them to cash winning lotto tickets, claiming that they are in the U.S.A. illegally. They then con the victim into putting their own money into the deal, in a show of good faith, the perpetrators then steal the money.

Please be aware of any such dealings, should you be approached with a similar type scam immediately contact the Hollywood Police Department at (954) 967-4357.

CUIDADO DE FRAUDE DE LOTERIA  (spanish)

Individuos desconocidos han estado haciendo victimas a personas latinas mayores de edad. Estos individuos se acercan a sus victimas y les piden que cambien boletos ganadores de la loteria, diciendoles que ellos (los sospechosos) estan ilegalmente en este pais. Los sospechosos hacen que sus victimas pongan de su propio dinero en el trato, mostrando buena fe, luego los sospechosos se roban el dinero.

Por favor, este alerta de cualquier trato similar, si se le acerca alguien con algun tipo de trampa similar, comuniquese inmeidatamente con la policia de Hollywood al (954) 967-4357.
