North Central Area
Neighborhood Advisory Board Coordinator Linda Van Benschoten. She is
also the Crime Watch Advisory Board Vice-Chairperson.
The boundaries for the North Central Neighborhood are
from I-95, east to Dixie Highway and from Hollywood Boulevard, north to
Sheridan Street. This area of Hollywood, just north of City Hall,
is mostly residential with a diversity of parks, Oakridge Elementary School
and even a few ocean access canals!
The people in our area include many families and individuals
who are concerned with keeping the neighborhood safe and free of crime.
This is the focus of the Citizens' Crime Watch Program, which is really
just neighbors looking out for their neighbors.
