Four Officers are permanently assigned to the Downtown Hollywood area that work closely with Patrol Officers.   The Downtown Officers also work in partnership with merchants, residents, and governmental agencies such as the Community Redevelopment Agency and the Chamber of Commerce.   Downtown Officers place special emphasis on quality of life issues such as vagrancy, public drunkenness, prostitution and drug dealing.
