Historical Lineup of
Hollywood Police Department Patches

There have been six versions of the Hollywood Police Department shoulder patch. The current Hollywood Police patch is worn on both sleeves of all our Sworn and Civilian Class A dress uniforms and our Sworn and Civilian Class B duty uniforms and is also displayed as an embroidered chest insignia on the more casual Class C Uniforms for our Civilian Members. The current patch depicts a representation of the Florida State Seal surrounded by a midnight blue band identifying the Hollywood Police Department.

Over the years, several members of the Hollywood Police Department traded patches with other law enforcement agencies and collectors, resulting in the appearance of Hollywood Police Department patches in collections all over the world. The Hollywood Police Department has also received patch requests from traders and collectors in every state in the United States and in nearly every country around the world.

Representing Professional Law Enforcement, our Members are proud to wear the Hollywood Police Department uniform and patch; and the Hollywood Police Department is proud to make Hollywood Police Department collectible patches available for collectors and traders to purchase. One Hollywood Police Department Uniform Patch may be obtained through the Department’s Explorer Post Program; all proceeds are used to help support the Hollywood Explorer Program.

The total cost of a patch is $10.00. Print out the Patch Request Form below and mail it, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope (with sufficient return postage) and $10.00 (U.S.) cashiers check or money order only, payable to Hollywood Police Explorer Post #81 to:

PLEASE NOTE:

• Please do not send patches for exchange. Although we appreciate the thought, the Department does not maintain a patch collection and does not engage in patch-trading.
   

• We do not have any other Hollywood Police Department logo-defined items such as pins, mugs, trading cards or photographs available for sale or distribution.
   

• We do not accept any request to purchase or trade a Hollywood Police Department badge under any circumstances. The distribution of any law enforcement badge is restricted under Florida State Statute 843.085(3).
   

• Only the current Hollywood Police Department patch is available. We do not stock or distribute any of the historical patches shown in the photo at the top of the page.
   

• The patch we send via this page is for use as a collectors item only and may only be "displayed in a closed or mounted case as a collection or exhibit" as dictated by Florida State Statute 843.085(1). Any other use is illegal and will subject the person to arrest.
